F9F-5 Panther, Lt. Royce Williams, VF-781 1:48 Model
This model represents the mount of Lt. Royce Williams serving in VF-781 "Pacemakers" aboard the USS Oriskany. On November 18th 1952 Lt. Williams took on seven MiG-15s near Hoeryong, North Korea. The ensuing dogfight lasted some 35 minutes! He shot down four of the MiGs and damaged two others before making an escape back to his carrier.
